The other type of Aricent's MDS that are built to M.3010 recommendations
are known as Mediation Device for Service Provisioning (MDS/SPSM).The
MDS/SPSM allows on-line and automatic provisioning of subscribers
from customer care systems to multiple and varied network elements
of a network.
The MDS/SPSM also allows activation/ deactivation of service,
deletion of service of a subscriber, modify the already provisioned
service, inquire about the services of a subscriber etc.
