Aricent's SigASN is a platform-independent Signaling Module
and forms the core component of the WiMAX ASN Gateway. The
solution is a WiMAX standards based off-the-shelf, software
signaling framework, which enables Telecommunication Equipment
Manufacturers (TEMs) to quickly develop WiMAX (802.16e) ASN
Gateways.
A member of the WiMAX Forum, Aricent has been actively tracking
the WiMAX technology in conformance with the Network Working
Group (NWG) Forum's roadmap of ASNGateway specfication for
various Profiles. This has aided Aricent to effectively evolve its SigASN product in step with the progression
of the WiMAX specifications, ensuring that its customers are
shielded from added costs of technology upgrades. In addition,
Aricent's comprehensive set of IP-based Datacom offerings,
such as Radius, DHCP, and IGMP, serve as building blocks for
the ASN Gateway. Aricent SigASN solution is the most comprehensive
ASN GW framework available and with its continuing investment
in evolution, ensures that the customer is assured of a standards-based
solution being available for deployment and technology evolves.
