The Service Creation Environment (SCE) is a standalone product from Aricent that delivers "True Customer Value".

SCE provides an enabling solution for developing customer driven convergent services for PSTN, Wireline (IP) and Wireless Networks. It meets the requirements for end-to-end Service Creation and Integration for both Proprietary as well as Standards based Core Networks and Application platforms. SCE delivers customer value on a sustained basis by enabling:

Aricent SCE enables creation and delivery of applications and services at substantially reduced initial and operating costs. This allows targeting of applications to niche vertical market thereby meeting the need of defying the notion of "Killer Applications" (synonymous with Mass Market Applications). Creation of applications for niche markets becomes possible on account of substantially reduced costs, greater re-use of services, Open Standards and third party application development. (The concept of "Killer applications" emerged on account of very high costs to Operators for very few services, the applications thus had to have a Mass-Market appeal to recover costs and earn profits).

With the Aricent Service Creation Environment OEMs, Application Platform Vendors, Application Developers can achieve over 50 percent savings while creating revenue-generating services.
