HSS has featured for the second year in a row in Business Today’s
Best Employers List. The survey, conducted by the international
people practices consulting house, Hewitt Associates, is now
a yearly feature in Business Today magazine, India's leading
business fortnightly.
HSS was felicitated for its innovative HR practices at the HRD
Congress. The award acknowledges HSS' efforts in transcending
organizational and environmental challenges to create a vibrant,
value-driven workplace.
HSS also won the coveted CIO Award 2001 for the usage of Information
Technology in Human Resource Management. The award was in recognition
of HSS' initiatives in using IT to create and drive its people
practices.
Hughes Software Systems has been ranked amongst India's Top-Five
Employers. HSS got due recognition for its unique employee initiatives,
being voted the fifth-best employer in a Business Today Hewitt
Associates study. The ranking acknowledges the impact of the
total employee package HSS offers in terms of cutting-edge technology,
professional development, flexible work environment and dynamic

HSS was selected as an associate member of European Telecommunication
Standards Institute (ETSI).
HSS received the certificate of membership from Mr. Dieter Kaiser,
Chairman of the ETSI
Board. This coveted membership allows HSS access to 'work in
progress' ETSI documents and an opportunity to participate in
ETSI technical
activities. HSS also gains voting rights, thus acquiring a say
in the standardisation process.
