| 'Soul Rock'…24th
December…Aricentians get a feel of the new mantra |

The brainwave of the Art of Living
(AOL) group, 'Soul Rock' is an innovative and novel way
of fusing spirituality into the fun and festivity of everyday
life. The group has merged popular traditional bhajans with
'bhangra' beats and 'rock' tempo…creating a music genre
that boasts of both foot-tapping rhythm and also panacea
for the soul. A very different and soul enriching experience…not
one to be forgotten in a hurry.

Lights…Camera…Action…the
stage seemed to be set for Milan…an opportunity for
the Aricentians to 'come together' as a family and celebrate
the spirit of 'togetherness' that defines the Aricent ethos.
Jade Garden, the banquet hall at 32nd Milestone, was the
venue for this get-together on 12th December. Milan felicitated
those Aricentians who have travelled along the Aricent way…some
for five years…some for a decade. Through their achievements,
these exemplary individuals have idealized the Aricent spirit,
the Aricent culture. Milan was an opportunity to acknowledge
their contribution.

23rd November was a little 'hatke'
from other sedate Sundays. No waking up late, no flipping
through the Sunday Times with a steaming cup of coffee…it
was the Aricent Children's Day Hungama…time for yet another
celebration for the Aricent family.

October 17…festivities
seemed to have begun a week early for Aricentians. It was time
for Phooljhadi, the annual Diwali bash…the most eagerly
awaited event of the Aricent social calendar. The theme this
year for the floor decoration competition - 'Indian States'
- saw the Aricentians at their creative and competitive best.
As part of the Aricent commitment to social causes, there were
various NGOs exhibiting candles, bags, wallets, lamps, curios,
and much more. The final highlight was a sumptuous family
dinner at the HECL grounds. The evening closed on a celebratory
note of fun, warmth and new hope.

Its springtime folks! And Aricent
welcomed the season in its own style by celebrating
Spring Fest-Phagun 2003. The evening of March 13 was marked
out for the event, which took place on the Cafeteria lawns
of Plot 31. Sunil Sud gave away the prizes in the end. Mouth
watering snacks rounded off the evening, one of the very
few informal occasions on the calendar of Aricent.
| Togetherness Day at Carterpuri

Togetherness Day was celebrated
at the Carterpuri High School on 6th February 2003. The
occasion saw the presence of members from Friends of Carterpuri,
Charities Aid Foundation and Aricentians. Amita Kumar and Vandana
Aadesh presented certificates to students who had successfully
completed the computer and vocational training programs.
Arun Kumar inaugurated the newly constructed IT lab amidst
a lot of excitement and applause from the students. The
Aricent team then distributed sweets and snacks to the students
and became a part of the excitement and joy at Carterpuri.
