INTERNET TELEPHONY® magazine names Aricent's
(formerly Flextronics Software Systems) SIP Network
Server (SNS) as the winner of the prestigious “Product
of the Year Award” for 2005.
The Aricent (formerly Flextronics Software Systems)
SNS is a Carrier-grade, feature rich, core infrastructure
server, based on an innovative architecture, which,
unlike traditional architectures, separates routing
from application servers. This allows Carriers the flexibility
to quickly deploy innovative revenue generating services,
such as Prepaid, Video, and Centrex from amongst the
best-in-class application server vendors. The SNS provides
guaranteed interoperability with leading products and
vendors in the marketplace. It can support as many as
600,000 subscribers, making it one of the most scalable
and cost effective, core infrastructure servers.

Software Systems) OSA-compliant SIP Application Server
(also called B2BUA), a powerful and flexible solution,
providing testing, standards-compliant core SIP functionalities
has been awarded Internet Telephony’s prestigious
Product of the Year 2004. The OSA SIP Application Server
offers re-usable components that facilitate easy addition
of new applications through its ‘open' APIs. Developers
can use these to develop applications, such as PTT, IM,
Multimedia conferencing, call parking, call pick-up, prepaid,
voice mail, unified messaging, and hunt groups, in minimal
time frames.
