Aricent
Aadesh is the Centre Head, Gurgaon and Vice President - Human Resources with
Aricent . He is a member of the Board of Directors of the company and
has been with Aricent since 1992, as a part of the start-up team.
As the head of HR and the Chief Ethics Officer of the company, Aadesh has
been instrumental in developing Aricent's HR policies, practices and culture, which is one of
its biggest strengths. Aricent's unique talent management practices are rated one of the best
in the industry and have helped Aricent being consistently rated among the 'Best Employers' in India.
Aadesh has been instrumental in establishing Aricent's BPO business and
served as its head during 2002-04. Aadesh has also led several other functions at
Aricent including Information Technology, Corporate Communications, Sales and Program
Management for the Soft-Switch product.
Prior to Aricent, Aadesh has worked with Centre for Development of
Telematics (C-DOT) from 1985 to 1992 in various roles in Project Management, Human
Resource Development and Corporate Communications.
Aadesh has been recognized by the industry through several awards
including the Top 5-CIO Award for Innovation in IT for HRD (in 2000) and the Best
HR Manager in India by National HRD Network in its Annual Convention in 2002. He
is deeply involved in social development and is an active volunteer and organizer
with The Art of Living Foundation.
In addition to this, Aadesh is an active industry veteran serving
on the Board of Governors of Netaji Subhash Chandra Bose Institute of Technology,
New Delhi, Delhi School of Economics (MHROD) and Lal Bahadur Shastri Institute of
Management. He has also served on the Advisory Board of JobsAhead.Com in the past.
He is an active speaker on Talent Management, Ethics and Volunteerism
in seminars and conferences.
He is an alumnus of BITS Pilani where he did his Masters in Management Studies.
