802.11i (RSNA) Overview

802.11i (RSNA) is a portable implementation of the 802.11i specification for Robust Security Network Association (RSNA) in Wireless LANs (WLANs). The stack is portable to several leading operating systems and wireless chipsets using well-defined external interfaces. RSNA reduces the time-to-market for OEMs and Value-Added Resellers (VARs) who wish to incorporate the 802.11i RSNA functionality into their WLAN products. Aricent's 802.11i RSNA provides the following key benefits in a WLAN environment:

  • Enhanced network security
  • Confidentiality of valuable user information
  • Interoperability
