The IP Security (IPSec) software is a portable implementation of the industry-standard IPSec security standard. Security is provided at the IP level by supporting Authentication Header (AH) and encapsulating the Security Payload (ESP) protocol. The IPSec solution provides support for both IPv4 and IPv6. The IPSec solution is easily portable across various architectures and reduces the time to market for OEMs and VARs, who wish to incorporate the Security functionality in their products at the network layer.
