The Internet Protocol Version 6 (IPv6) Router solution is a router-specific portable implementation of the next-generation IPv6, complying with the relevant RFCs and Internet drafts. The major components of the software are IPv6 Addressing features, Path MTU Discovery, Neighbor Discovery (ND6), ICMPv6, UDP over IPv6 (UDP6), Transition Mechanisms for IPv6 (Tunnel), MLD, RTM6, and the Ping6 utility. The IPSECv6 solution is an add-on component for adding security feature to the IPv6 Router solution. The IPv6 Router solution reduces the time-to-market for OEMs and VARs who wish to incorporate the IPv6 Host functionality into their switching/routing devices.
