The TCP stack is a portable implementation of the industry
standard Transmission Control Protocol (TCP), based on the
RFC 793. The software consists of the core TCP protocol, a
library that provides a Socket Layer Interface (SLI) to support
both IPv4 and IPv6 applications and Telnet and FTP servers
that support both IPv4 and IPv6-based connections (optional).
The TCP software interacts with the Network layer protocols
(IPv4/IPv6) and uses their services for end-to-end communication.
TCP reduces the time-to-market for OEMs and VARs who wish
to incorporate TCP functionality in their products.
