- PER encoding of the outgoing RNSAP messages.
- PER decoding of the incoming RNSAP messages.
- Guarding the procedure execution by activating optional, configurable
internal timers, even if specification does not mandate it.
- Validating the received message from the peer for abnormal
conditions. If it detects an error in the received message,
it takes appropriate actions based on the specification text.
- Transfer Syntax Error handling in received messages.
- Abstract Syntax Error handling in received messages based
on the criticality information.
- Handling of maintenance procedures, like congestion/state
changes at Transport layers and providing a simple interface
