Hughes Software Systems (HSS), have concluded an arrangement
with NEC Corporation to enhance NECs routers, switches and
IP applications used for building IP optimized backbones as
well as edge and access solutions.
HSS will develop features for existing NEC products,
working on testing process improvement initiaties as well
as evaluating new areas in line with emerging technology trends
to create additional business opportunities for NEC.
HSS has set up a dedicated modern development
facility at Gurgaon for this purpose. The offshore facility
will conform to NEC's stringent global standards and will
also try for potential for expansion of the area of co-operation.
