Hughes Software, which is scheduled to declare its results
for the second quarter (Q2) ended 30 September 2002 (SQ 2002)
on 11 October 2002, is expected to post a net profit in the
range of Rs 5.23 crore and Rs 9.3 crore. Sales are likely
to decline by 2.72% to 9.4%.
Capitalmarket.com polled three software analysts from different
research organisations to have their assessment on the SQ
2002 results of the company.
Earnings Estimate: Analysts expect the company's net profit
in the range of Rs 5.23 crore and Rs 9.30 crore for SQ 2002
as against Rs 6.30 crore in SQ 2001, a sales growth in the
range of negative 17% and positive 47.6%.
Net profit growth on quarter-on-quarter basis is likely to
rise by 19% to 111.4%. In JQ 2002, the company had posted
a net profit of Rs 4.4 crore.
Sales Estimate: Analysts project the company's sales in the
range of Rs 48.5 crore and Rs 52 crore for SQ 2002 (Rs 53.60
crore in SQ 2001), a drop of 2.72% to 9.4%.
Quarter-on-quarter, sales growth has been forecast somewhere
between 2.45% and 10%. In JQ 2002, the company had recorded
sales of Rs 47.40 crore.
