Hughes Software Systems Ltd has posted a 32 per cent rise
in its net profit for the second quarter ended September 2002
to Rs 8.3 crore as compared to Rs 6.3 crore in the same period
last year.
During the period, the company's net sales was Rs 52.1 crore
as against Rs
53.6 crore during July-September 2001.
According to Company officials, Hughes Software has already
taken many steps to diversify revenue and have cost structure
increasingly in line with revenue.
Hughes Software net profit for the first half April-September
2002 is Rs. 12.7 crore as against Rs 25 crore in the same
period last year reflecting a drop of 49 per cent.
