Hughes Software, which is scheduled to declare its results
for the third quarter (Q3) ended 31 December 2002 (DQ 2002)
on 9 January 2003, is expected to post a net profit in the
range of Rs 9 crore and Rs 11.5 crore.
Sales are likely to decline by 2.3% to 9.7%.
Capitalmarket.com polled four software analysts from different
research organisations to have their assessment on the DQ
2002 results of the company.
Earnings Estimate: Analysts expect the company's net profit
in the range of Rs 9 crore and Rs 11.5 crore for DQ 2002 as
against Rs 14.50 crore in DQ 2001, a fall of 21% to 37%.
Net profit growth on quarter-on-quarter basis is likely to
rise by 9.6% to 38%. In SQ 2002, the company had posted a
net profit of Rs 8.3 crore.
Sales Estimate: Analysts project the company's sales in the
range of Rs 54 crore and Rs 58.5 crore for DQ 2002 (Rs 59.90
crore in DQ 2001), a drop of 2.3% to 9.7%.
Quarter-on-quarter, sales growth has been forecast somewhere
between 3.84% and 12.3%. In SQ 2002, the company had recorded
sales of Rs 52.10 crore.
