Hughes BPO Services, the BPO unit of Hughes Software is growing
at a scorching pace and generating business that will enable
it to ramp up its staffstrength from the present 275 to 900
per cent by the March 2004.
The unit which, initially provided services to its group
company has now acquired 180 customers.
The company expects to generate business from IT business.
The BPO unit has developed expertise in providing back-office
services for claims processing for auto, life, long-term care,
health insurance, policy approval and issuance and life cycle
management of various insurance products.
