NEW DELHI: Hughes Software Systems has been selected by an Italian alternative broadband telecom company e.Biscom's FastWeb to increase the VoIP capability of its triple-play integrated network.
FastWeb provides VoIP to business and residential customers since 2000 and HSS, in partnership with Italtel, will provide scalability and manageability for its fast growing subscriber base using its VoIP Gatekeeper solution, a release by HSS said.
e.Biscom was the first company worldwide to implement and demonstrate the industrial feasibility of radical innovations in telecom like creation of fully IP-based architecture, direct fibre connections to both business and residential customers, and high quality broadcast television and video services over DSL.
