Apertio partners with Hughes Software Systems to offer enhanced mobile services in Europe

New Delhi, April 1, 2004: Apertio, a leading developer of open and flexible software infrastructure for mobile networks , has chosen the world-class integrated SS7 and SIGTRAN solution from Hughes Software Systems (HSS), an end-to-end communication solutions provider for the telecom industry, for building Apertio's Application Development Framework (ADF). The ADF supports applications such as HLR, SLR and a pplications hosted by the SDF/SB middleware.

Apertio has used HSS' SS7 ( MTP3, SCCP, TCAP ) and SIGTRAN (M3UA, SCTP) stacks to develop and deploy enhanced carrier-grade applications. HSS solution has helped Apertio to design applications with an unmatched performance and scalability, offering the advantage of drastically reduced total cost of ownership and increased Return on Investment to its customers.
