Hughes Software Systems announces the launch of SIP-based Open Service Platform with OSA compliance

Cannes, 14th February 2005 - Hughes Software Systems (HSS), recently acquired by Flextronics and pending legal name change to Flextronics Software Systems, has announced the launch of a next-generation SIP-based 'Open' Application Server with OSA compliance. This 'Open' Application Server, a first in the industry, enables next generation applications, provides re-usable components, and facilitates the easy addition of new applications through its 'Open' APIs. The OSA Compliant SIP Application server is extremely effective in reducing the time and cost incurred in providing new applications.

In today's competitive telecom scenario, the Enhanced Services segment is the most dynamic. In the absence of any single and sustained popular application, application developers and service providers need to constantly introduce new services, identify the most acceptable service as well as scale up services at the right time.
