Flextronics Software Systems Ranked Number 1 in Worldwide Market Share for Session Initiation Protocol (SIP) Stacks

Gurgaon, India, 30 August 2006 - Flextronics Software Systems (FSS), the global leader in communications software, today announced that it is the worldwide share leader in the Session Initiation Protocol (SIP) stack market, according to a recent Venture Development Corporation (VDC) report.

FSS is the clear leader in the SIP stack market with 32% share, according to VDC's Telecom Core Infrastructure Market Intelligence Service 2005-2006. SIP is an application layer control protocol that can establish, modify and terminate multimedia sessions or calls.
