      May 5, 2005 - Flextronics Software Systems (FSS) has announced the financial results for the quarter ended March 31, 2005 today. In this fourth quarter of FY 2004-05, the company registered sales of Rs.1301 million, netting a growth of 28% over the corresponding quarter of the previous year. Profit after tax for the same period stood at Rs. 300 million, an increase of 42% over the corresponding period last year. The FSS Board of Directors approved these results at a meeting held in Gurgaon today.

      January 19, 2005 - Hughes Software Systems (HSS) has announced the financial results for the quarter ended December 31, 2004. In this third quarter of FY 2004-05, the company registered sales of Rs.1237 million, netting a growth of 28% over the corresponding quarter of the previous year. Profit after tax for the same period stood at Rs. 277 million, an increase of 18% over the corresponding period last year. The HSS Board of Directors approved these results at a meeting held in Gurgaon today.

      New Delhi, 13 December 2005 - Flextronics Software Systems (FSS), a leading provider of telecommunication and data communication software solutions, today announced the release of its Wi-Fi WLAN security & mobility software products that are critical towards the development of unified wire-line and Wi-Fi wireless LAN switching products. These products are also part of FSS' "OEM-Ready" WLAN Switching Solution (WSS) software, targeted for the growing WLAN switching market.

    • Freescale and Flextronics Software Systems demonstrate "OEM-ready" VPN security application
      Munich (Germany), (Freescale Technology Forum), 18 October, 2005 – Freescale Semiconductor (NYSE:FSL, FSL.B) and Flextronics Software Systems (FSS), formerly Hughes Software Systems, a global end-to-end communication solutions provider, have collaborated to develop a robust enterprise security router solution. This advanced IPSec-VPN-based router solution is powered by Freescale's MPC8555E PowerQUICC™ III integrated communications processor and FSS’s Enhanced Security System (ESS) software. FSS is providing the first public demonstration of this router platform solution at the Freescale Technology Forum today in Munich.

      Boston, 19 September 2005– Flextronics Software Systems (formerly Hughes Software Systems), a global end-to-end communication solutions provider today announced the launch of its next-generation SIP Network Server (NS). FSS’ SIP Network Server is a high-performance and highly scalable core infrastructure server that enables TSPs to roll out innovative and best of breed revenue generating services.     • Flextronics Software Systems expands its offerings for Telecom Service Providers
      Gurgaon (India), March 2005: Flextronics Software Systems (FSS) has announced the General Availability (GA) of its data charging platform, the FSS Charging Gateway Function (CGF) 1.0. The product is targeted at telecom service providers, for direct deployment into their networks, as well as OEM's for integrating into existing systems. FSS' CGF 1.0 conforms to ETSI's 3GPP standard for 2.5G+/3G networks.

The same application is also being shown as a Visitor Messaging Service for the security desk in offices.

This 'Open' Application Server, a first in the industry, enables next generation applications, provides re-usable components, and facilitates the easy addition of new applications through its 'Open' APIs. The OSA Compliant SIP Application server is extremely effective in reducing the time and cost incurred in providing new applications.

    • Hughes Software Systems unveils high performance, integrated SS7 signaling solution
      Cannes, 14th February 2005 - Hughes Software Systems (HSS), recently acquired by Flextronics and pending legal name change to Flextronics Software Systems, has announced the launch of an easy-to-use SS7 platform solution known as nexGen SS7. This platform allows users to develop applications irrespective of the underlying network and supports both the legacy (SS7) and the new (SIGTRAN) network infrastructures.
