Aricent has institutionalized an elaborate security arrangement to ensure sanctity
and security of data and IPRs. Some key features of this arrangement are as follows:
- To ensure that all customer intellectual property is adequately
protected and clauses related to IT Security / IPR protection
of customers are adhered to specifically in cases of offshore
projects
- To ensure that the company officials and employees are
aware of and fully comply with Aricent's Security Policy while
dealing with offshore projects. To create within Aricent, a
level of awareness of the need for security in offshore
projects to be an integral part of the day to day operation
of the company's business systems and to maintain that level
of awareness so that all employees understand the importance
of security to the company and their responsibilities for
maintaining security
- To limit the use of computer resources to the business
purposes for which such resources are intended
- To provide the means for identifying unauthorised actual
and attempted access to data and resources and taking appropriate
action
- To ensure that all of the Aricent assets and that of offshore
projects undertaken by Aricent, such as people, intellectual
property, computer systems, data and equipment are adequately
protected, on a cost effective basis and with minimum inconvenience
to authorized users and against threats to the level of
service required by Aricent to conduct its business. The level
of service required is that which will allow the business
and offshore projects to continue its day to day operations
of development and delivery without any degradation and
also support the development and launch of new products
and services in accordance with the company's product development,
offshore development and marketing plans
