The project required specialized skills in the 3G arena/Broadband-IP
and hence finding befitting resources was an uphill task.
Owing to novel team-building endeavours, Aricent has been able
to find resources with excellent technical skills and relevant
experience. A core technical team has been placed onsite to
understand the overall project plan as part of the onsite
knowledge-acquisition phase of the project. This has culminated
in formulating training schedules for offshore knowledge sharing
and imparting key learning to the entire team. Aricent's project
management processes further ensure that security mechanisms
of work deliverables; adherence to the client specified QMS,
reporting mechanisms, project tracking and escalation mechanism
are formulized in conjunction with NEC.
Aricent has deployed its best practices and processes, built
over the last many years into the execution of the NEC projects.
To this end, Aricent strives to institutionalize its proven project
management experience and skills and is continuously reviewing
and upgrading the methodologies, practices and training programs,

norms augmenting it with its own stringent quality standards.
During the onsite phase, the core team incorporated NEC's
QMS and after a gap-analysis between client and Aricent quality
standards, the quality norms to be followed have been finalized
in conjunction with the client.
