- Delivery
Platform for Value Added Services
Are "killer applications" really the need of
the hour?
Service providers have finally realized the risk of depending
on a few "killer applications" and instead are
investing to build a comprehensive portfolio of applications.
This has led to rapid adoption of open, standardized and
horizontal delivery platforms.
This application note addresses the issue of scalability,
a key "pain point", that has a major impact
on application developers and service providers involved
in implementing value-added services using delivery platforms.
It proposes substantial savings in development, deployment,
as well as maintenance of such value-added services by
incorporating Aricent's signaling elements in the design of
delivery platforms.
