Compliance
Flextronics Software Systems actively participates in producing documents for
the conformance testing of the Sigtran stacks. These
documents can be found at the IETF web site. The stack
is tested against this plan for conformance to the RFC.
The Implementation specific features are tested using
a exhaustive Quality Test Plan that is prepared by the
QA team and reviewed by the development team to ensure
that nothing is excluded.
OS Ports Available
Due to the core architecture and design principles
of the Flextronics Software Systems AAPE™ architecture, all stacks are developed
such that all platform (both operating system and hardware)
specific interactions are wrapped to a single module.
With this, effort to port core stack code to a different
platform is significantly reduced. On an average it
takes less than a couple of weeks to port and test stack
code on a new platform. IUA stack code is available
for following Operating Systems.
- Linux ( Tested with Red HATversion 7.2 )
- SunOs (Version 2.5 and over)
- VxWorks (Version 5.4.2)
Performance
A lot of consideration is given to optimization of
stack for memory and processing power requirements,
during the design and Coding phase. This is done keeping
in mind the actual use of stacks in field deployment.
It also a remains constant endeavor to enhance the performance
of the stacks with every release breaking the records
set by the previous ones. Detailed performance report
on IUA stack running in various load conditions can

Interoperability
To test the interoperability of its software stack
with other vendors, Flextronics Software Systems has actively participated in
all IUA interoperability events.
The last IUA interoperability Test Event (Plugtest)
was held at ETSI facilities at Sophia Antipolis, France
from 1 September - 5 September 2003. About 5 companies
participated in this event for testing their version
of IUA stack against other companies. Flextronics Software Systems IUA stack
in all SG/ASP scenarios was successfully tested
